Please remember each other in prayer support:
Mindy & Nate Buikema : Our prayer request for the month would definitely be that we are in the tail end of gathering all our necessary paperwork for our dossier. We would ask for prayer that it all gets finished and that it is all correct.
By the way...we absolutely loved our meeting on Monday. It was so exciting to see so many new faces and especially to have those who have already adopted. They provided a lot of good insight and helped give us a better picture of some things we might expect after bringing our daughter home.
Marc & Shelby Andreas: Our prayer request which you probably already know is to hear immediately for receiving a travel date to go to Haiti. And pray for our girls’ hearts as they prepare to travel soon.
Crystal & Steve Deters: Still referral process. . . Still {That they will be chosen and have a picture to mold into their hearts.}
Tracy and Jeff Chapman - We're waiting for our I600 to be issued so that our daughter, who turns two tomorrow, can come home. This is a new snag in the Vietnam process, one we are hoping gets ironed out quickly.
Mark & Aditi Aromi -
1. Back in PGN for the 3rd time no later than Friday November 16th
2. Clear the PGN with our "Pink Slip" by December 7th (to avoid delay from holidays & hague in Jan)
3. Conflict resolution with Mark's mother
4. Wisdom on how to approach introducing the girls to their largely extended family
5. Encouragement for the girls to endure the last few weeks at the orphanage
6. Strength for the girls as they will have hard times saying good by to their home of 5 years
7. PRAY PRAY PRAY they are home to celebrate Christmas with us at home!!!
Mark and I are desperately need sound counsel from professionals as to how to handle Mothers and extended relatives when they are unsupportive of our adoption. If you have anyone who can speak on this topic please do let us know
Patrick & Jill Berends - are thankful to the Lord most of all, but also very thankful to all of you that meet together to pray, socialize, and support each other through your adoptions and afterwards. We were really touched and a little amazed that all of you felt much the same way as we did…that the Lord touched your hearts and you felt lead by the Holy Spirit to serve him this way and you were obedient to his calling. I have no doubt we will love our children! We will encourage and support them! We will protect and nurture them! But most importantly….we will teach them to LOVE GOD with all their hearts and to love (serve) others. I believe we all are being obedient to the Lord in this way. All throughout the Bible the Lord seems to pass his most favored blessings on to the generations that follow his most obedient servants. I’m sure you have pondered some of these thoughts? Who will your children become, where will they go and how many people might they touch and influence for the Lord?!....and who will there children become and where will they go and how many people might they touch and influence for the Lord and HIS eternal kingdom?!....and so it goes......and so it starts with the decision to be obedient to the Lord’s will and calling for you today! It is an honor and a privilege to serve God in this way! I pray the Lord sends you his most favored blessing upon you and your children. It appears it is something that you can take with you!
Kelley & Kirk Senkowski - Please pray that our DNA will GET DONE this month (after 15 months of waiting) and be into PGN by Dec 12th when Guatemala shuts down for the holiday. That NO OTHER snags will affect our boys cases.
Please pray protection over each one of these children (those known now and those not) and over the adopting families - those group members represented here and those not able to be on this message.
God be with you all!

Prayer request
Hello to all!
Our family had a great time visiting and enjoying stories with our bi-yearly group of Haitian adopted families today. We were almost to the gathering when our 4 year old son blurted out, ”Will Adeline and Lovely be there?”. Those are our daughters we are waiting for from Haiti and Marc and my heart sank. Then our 6 year old girl said, “I really want my sisters to come today!” The mouths of children speak the truth so clearly and we wished we could have granted the wish only we had to soften the blow and say that God was going to bring them home very soon. Please add our children to your prayer list in that they will continue to have passion and love to meet their sisters and be content in the waiting process. What a blessing it is to meet monthly and to share freely on this blog site. If any of you want to hang and if any need to chat please call and we can get together. This is what community is for.
Blessings, Shelby Andreas
