Hi Kelley. I hope you’re all having a great meeting tonight including my wife Shelby. Since I work at Bethany Christian Services, I’m aware of a couple of websites that can be helpful for families dealing with the financial challenges of adoption as they do a nice job of showing benefits from many employers.
http://benefits.adoption.com/ and http://www.adoptionfriendlyworkplace.org/ASSETS/F716B4D9C3D944008127F67CECDB8117/100-BestAFW-Table-2007.pdf
Also, a lot of people know about the federal tax credit, but not everyone knows about the state tax credit which is available in Michigan and more than a dozen other states. http://international.adoption.com/foreign/state-federal-tax-benefits-for-international-adoption.html
